Buck’s Restaurant Review
Woodside Lunch & Nooner at Buck’s . . .
Platonically and phonetically speaking, a noon luncheon at Woodside’s Buck’s Restaurant is certainly remarkable.
Take Margaret’s favorite sandwich offered on the “naked lunch special” menu: Eggs, avocado, Swiss cheese, grilled sourdough, diced black olives, and other sacred ingredients. It was paired lovely with dairy-fresh cittage cheese and colorful, crunchy Cole slaw. Some diners may prefer to use a fork to eat this because with the slices of avocado it is thick.
Try Buck’s fish and chips. In a tasty panko batter, halibut and salmon were fried. Even Buck’s tarter sauce is hard to beat.
Note that restaurant management has a sense of humor and prints its own menu with some meaningful misspellings.
In the past, we have found the hanger steak entrees and grilled artichokes to be excellent. The open-faced dungenous crab sandwich that is always on the lunch and dinner menu is “something to die for.”
Their service excels consistently.
You cannot be denied a great lunch in Woodside these days.
We give Buck’s Restaurant a “Five-Paw Rating”
