WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE

It has been an exciting week in the world of sports, politics, and the financial markets. The World Serious ended with a Giant bang, former #1 Crimson Tide was upset, and there were four overtime football games on Sunday (The Green Bay-Cowboy game went on too long, too). The stock market reached some records.

The NASDACK and DJIA closed the week up over 13% and 9.7% during the year so far. Gold and other commodity values are out of site. Takeover and acquisition rumors are flying. The gains over the last six months are phenomenal given the current state of employment and other economic indicators.

We're cheering for more market gains

All three of our diversified portfolios are up for October-November. DA’s Watchlist #2 holds a slight lead over the others based upon the strength of the SSRX, SLW, XOM, and DECK. It’s up almost 10% in three weeks!

How long is the post-summer boon going to continue? Most of the “talking heads” are selectively bullish.

If only finding the bulls in a bear market was so easy as predicting what football teams will win each weekend. By the way, “All Mic and No Ike” was 7 and 3 on Sunday and 6 and 5 this past Saturday.

Good luck and enjoy the games!
