Win Some and Lose None

Week-Long American Football Holiday!

As much as we enjoyed the Horned Frog celebration after the ’11 Rose Bowl, we missed the high scoring matchup of Stanford vs. Wisconsin. I’m old-school and am used to falling asleep new year’s night in the middle of the Orange Bowl held after an annual Big 10-Pac 10 game.

Tomorrow’s NFL games are only mildly interesting (Raiders @ Chiefs, Bears @ Packers, Cowboys @ Eagles, Titans @ Colts) compared to Fiesta Bowl 2 – Auburn vs. Oregon. We have to wait for another week!

One of my new year’s resolutions is to not handicap the remainder of this football season. Teddy, Mike, and others will likely be back at it in September. In the meantime, we’ll focus on the numbers in some key industrial sectors of the stock market.

Now that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have reproven their dominance over the University of Miami football program, we can now rest in front of the TV and enjoy all the action.

Good luck and enjoy the games!
