Please Help The Homeless in San Mateo County, Calif.

     The Mental Health Association operates a shelter for over 22 men and women. Send your donations to: 2686 Spring Street, Redwood City, CA 94063.

    There are a dozen people either in transition or independent living who can use job referrals, interview clothing, financial assistance, education grants, and funds for medication and basic provisions.

    Spring Street Station offers a “Care Plus Program” for over 30 adults under mental health care. Funds are necessary to continue operations of the Emergency Shelter and Transition Housing that provides laundry facilities, showers, air conditioned sleeping quarters, psychological counseling, and two hot meals each day (three meals on weekends and holidays).
