The First Saturday in December 2011 – “Dailey’s Daily Ramblings”

Dateline: North America – December 3, 2011 –

With so many North Americans in-need it will definately be a different Christmas.

For me, 2012 cannot arrive soon enough.

Politics, BCS sports, banking and finance, crime, rotten Hollywood movies, tired reality shows on TV, uncreative new music, travel restrictions, injuries and illnesses, death, transportation woes, natural disasters, and too many fellow sinners have worn down my spirit.

Spirit, Christian spirit, high hopes, lofty goals, available resources, less worries and concerns, responsible and active elected officials, genuine relationships (so many are consumed listening to their PDAs and text messaging), communication and active listening, great medical care, and right-on family matters are what I feel we need.

That being said, or written above, I am ready for a much needed rest and get away. For me, going back to my roots is what I am talking about.

Originally from the Midwest and now having lived in Northern California for almost 32 years, I am ready for the Aloha Spirit or Hoosier Hospitality or something.

Best Wishes for a terrific holiday season… and a happier new year! May we retain our sense of humor and drive to make this world a better place.
