Stock Market Gains (Again) for the Biotechnology-Healthcare-Medical Devices-Pharmaceutical Sector

As predicted, Teva Pharmaceutical (TEVA) of Israel went up on Friday before the New York Stock Exchange close.

But the big winners were Conceptus (CPTS gained 7.56% in just one day), Boston Scientific (BSX increased 5.93% on Friday), Endo Pharmaceutical Holdings (ENDP), Dendron (DNDN), Jazz Pharmaceuticals (JAZZ is now at $50.81 after going up 4.61%), Health South Corporation (HS), Tenet Healthcare (THC), Universal Health Services (UHS), Questcore Pharmaceuticals (QCOR gained 3.84% on Friday), Omnicare (OCR), AmeriGroup (AGP), Medicus Pharmaceutical Group (MRX),  Omnicell (OMCL), Onyx (ONXX),  (OCR), Stryker Corporation (SYK),  and Zoll Pharmaceuticals (ZOLL) was up 73 cents and can be purchased Monday for $74 per share.

Biotech stocks rose 27% in 2011.

Perhaps they will keep rising like gasoline prices.

Tonight in Northern California, (s)hell stations are selling 91 octane gas for $4.48.9 a gallon.

It looks like I will never get my motor coach running around the state again (sigh).
