It is a crying shame that current 49er management are moving the pro football team out of San Francisco. Legal challenges against construction of a stadium in Santa Clara County have failed.
It is a crying shame that a new stadium could not have been constructed where the pro team first played near Kezar Stadium in beautiful Golden Gate Park.
Joe Montana is probably elated that his investment property in the vicinity of the former Great America amuzement park will increase in value. The development close to the brackish waters of the Bay may foul plans; California normally has stringent Environmental Impact Report (EIN) restrictions.
Forty-Niner fans will lose not cheering in San Francisco County or even San Mateo County any longer. Many native San Franciscans will never see another home game in-person.
