Vote for Your Favorite Movie Plot (screenplays-in-progress)
Choose from either of these 3 big-screen ideas. In my opinion, so many current-day movie plots are lame. Voice your opinion today:
~ Humorous adventures surrounding regular customers of a local coffee shop.
“Taxi Driver, Too”
~ Satire of an aging psychic / psycho cab driver with Altzheimer’s Disease. Maybe Robert DiNiro would be the driver and Ben Stiller could play his dispatcher who gives him constant directions using his citizens’ band radio and GPS devices. Poor driver cannot remember where he is or where he is going.
“Fast Forward To The Past”
~ About a Southern Indiana town where people from the world-wide over visit and go to university. A DVD player is the time machine that takes a group of college students back to 1820, 1894, 1907 (when the county courthouse was contructed by “cutters” out of limestone), 1920 (when musician Hoagy Carmichael went to college), 1976 (when the I.U. basketball team never lost in 32 games), 1979 (when the screenplay “Breaking Away” about the Little 500 Bike Race was created), and 1999 (when the entire world was preparing for the farce Y2K supercomputer crash).
