Oops, Another Journalistic Goof(s) Creating Bigger Social Issues in a Nice College Town
On the front page of the Sunday edition of this week’s “Limestone Indiana” newspaper:
Homeless people are being mis-characterized as criminals.
Two “young journalists” and a “cub photographer” and a “police statistician” have collaborated on a sunday paper article that creates fear, slander, and libel.
Some people in the university community may take public protest and legal actions… stay tuned.
Unless the town newspaper cleans up this trash-talking journalism, there may be a class-action suit looming…
so much for the hoosier-version of Freedom of the Press! Two town police men and their squad cars are pictured on the front page with a 36 point font caption “Homeless Crime” …
this is another form of “racial profiling” and public discrimination andgarbage journalism.
So sad how this formerly respectable newspaper is being run down nowadays.
One more example:
Teddy died on 7-1-12.There was no mention of his “murder” ever included in this Herald Times of Bloomington, Indiana.
The paper is a waste of $1.75 on this Sunday! What a rip-off!
